Bethania Dela Cruz Reigns on Top!

In all fairness to Bethania, she totally deserves all the awards she has achieved because she is such a hardworking player. Each time she plays for the Dominican Republic and for her club team, you know she’d give her BEST
Last weekend, Bethania scored a whooping 54 POINTS for her Japanese club team Denso against Hisamitsu in an epic 5 set match. 49 attack (49/78 attempts), 2 blocks and 3 aces. Such amazing performance helped her team to win the match. Her right arm must be TIRED!

In case you didn’t know, Bethania also holds the most ACES in one season in the Puerto Rican League. She has 56 aces and has surpassed the former holder Elaine Lopez who scored 50 aces back in 1995. At the 2011 FIVB World Cup, she won 2 major awards, “Best Scorer” and “Best Server”.
